RECENT HISTORY & BACKGROUND OF THE GROUP
The business is a collaboration of offshore finance companies raising a pool of finance, and companies based in the United Kingdom which borrow the funds raised, and then lend on the monies in various markets.

The companies which are based in the United Kingdom are Imperial Consolidated Limited, Imperial Consolidated Financiers Limited and Imperial Phoenix Finance Limited.

These companies are engaged in a variety of lending markets including Consumer, (under the Consumer Credit Act 1974), Commercial, Venture Capital, and Land and Property. These companies also own their own land and property investment projects and equity investments in start up and venture capital projects.

At the peak of its direct business, the companies employed in excess of 200 personnel. However, a series of reorganisations and contracting out the management of certain parts of the business have reduced the permanent workforce to around 30. The commercial and capital growth projects continue to be managed within the organisation whilst the consumer loans have been outsourced.
